The Hubert H. Humphrey Program of the 2008-2009 academic year

The U.S. Embassy and the Fulbright Office Russia has announced the start of the recruitment year for The Hubert H. Humphrey Program of the 2008-2009 academic year.

The one-year program provides mid-career professionals an opportunity to pursue graduate-level academic course work with professional development activities in the U.S. Candidates, who have at least five years of professional experience, are selected from specified fields, including

• communications;
• educational management;
• drug abuse education, treatment and prevention; administration;
• HIV/AIDS policy and prevention;  
• trafficking in persons;
• natural resources and environmental management;  
• public health; and public administration;
• urban and regional planning,
  among other fields.  

The closing date for submission of applications is September 7, 2007.
